A major case of negligence of two pilots has surfaced on the Jet Airways’ London-Mumbai flight on Tuesday. On January 2, a Jet Airways’ flight moving towards Mumbai from London at around 5 pm escaped a major accident due to a fight between two pilot couple, reported Newscode.

According to the sources, the pilot couple was flying the jet flight – 9W 119 from London to Mumbai on Tuesday. But a few hours later, the duo started fighting in the cockpit. It has also been reported that during the fight, the man has slapped the lady captain.

The source further added that the fight between the two sparked to an extent that the woman captain preferred moving out of the cockpit putting the lives of several passengers in danger.

But considering the vulnerability of the situation, a lady cabin crew requested the woman captain to return to the cockpit. She also told her that her negligence can put many lives at risk.

In the meantime, man captain also tried calling the woman inside the cockpit to avoid any menace.  But, when she did not listen, he also came out of the cockpit and took her inside by dragging her.

“A misunderstanding occurred between the cockpit crew of Jet Airways flight 9W 119, London – Mumbai of January 01, 2018. However, the same was quickly resolved amicably and the flight with 324 guests including 2 infants and 14 crew continued its journey to Mumbai, landing safely. The airline has reported the incident to the DGCA and the concerned crew has been derostered pending an internal investigation, that has since been initiated. At Jet Airways, safety of guests, crew, and assets is of paramount importance and the airline has zero tolerance for any action of its employees that compromises safety,” Jet Airways spokesperson told Newsdcode.
