The cult classic Bollywood film Chak De India starring Shah Rukh Khan has completed its 13 years today. The film was directed by Jaideep Sahni who also helmed brilliant hits like Bunty Aur Babli, Rocket Singh: Salesman of the Year, Shuddh Desi Romance, Aaja Nachle.
Media has often speculated if Chak De! India was way ahead of its time from a creative vision because they feel had the film released now, it would shatter every box office record. Chak de India also presented many girls as hockey players. Let’s peek into their journey from the film till now.
Sagarika Ghatge
The actor played the role of ‘Preethi Sabrwal’ in the film. Sagarika tied the knot with Indian cricketer Zaheer Khan on November 23, 2017.
Tanya Abrol
The angry ‘Balbir Kau’ from Chandigarh. Tanya Abrol went on to gain fame through the film and appear in ‘CID’ and various Punjabi films. She was last seen in ‘Bareilly Ki Beti’, which had received quite a few acclaims.
