New Delhi, July 3 (IANS) The Indo Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) on Wednesday used IAF helicopters to bring bodies of four of the seven mountaineers who went missing while on their way to Nanda Devi to its base camp in Uttarakhand.
“The remaining bodies will be brought to Pithoragarh,” ITBP spokesperson Vivek Pandey told IANS.
Last week, an ITBP search team recovered the seven bodies, roped together. An eighth body could not be located. Nanda Devi is the second highest mountain in India.
