Four people died due to drowning in Kopa police station area of Nawada village, Chapra. The police reached the spot following the incident and sent the bodies for postmortem.
The family of the deceased said that Sangeeta Devi (30), Simran (7), Ganesh (4) and Shatrughan (2) had gone out of the house for defecation on Monday evening. But they did not return even till late at night. During the morning search, the bodies were found from the water filled pit.
