The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) recruitment drive for Multi Tasking Staff position in 7th Pay Commission scale is in its last stage.
Interested and eligible candidates can apply for the positions today, March 21, as it’s the last date to apply.
“The Staff Selection Commission will hold a competitive examination for recruitment of Multi Tasking Staff (in Pay Level- 1 as per Pay Matrix of 7th Pay Commission), a General Central Service Group ‘C’ Non-Gazetted, Non-Ministerial post in various Ministries/ Departments/ Offices of the Government of India, in different States/ Union Territories,” reads the official notification.
Eligibility Details of SSC Recruitment In 7th Pay Commission scale
Age Limit (as on 01-01-2021): 18-25 years as on cut-off date (i.e. candidates born not before 02-01-1996 and not later than 01-01-2003)
18-27 years as on cut-off date (i.e. candidates born not before 02-01-1994 and not later than 01-01-2003)
Educational Qualification (as on 01.01.2021): Candidates applying must have passed the Matriculation Examination or equivalent from a recognised Board.
Application Fee: Fee payable: Rs 100, but women candidates and candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), Persons with Disabilities (PwD) and Ex-servicemen (ESM) eligible for reservation are exempted from payment of fee.

Selected candidates will be appointed in Level-1 and Level-2 7th Pay Commission pay scale. So, if we go by the seventh pay commission pay matrix, a candidate selected in Level-1 will get 7th CPC basic pay of Rs 18,000 per month means Rs 23,553 (Basic Pay + 17 per cent DA + 8 per cent HRA + TA) while a candidate selected in Level-2 pay scale will get monthly basic pay of Rs 19,900 mens its monthly emoluments will be Rs 25,928 (Basic Pay + 17 per cent DA + 8 per cent HRA + TA).
