According to Pinkvilla, the industry is abuzz with talk that Aamir’s next film will be the RS Prassana-directed sports drama Champions, the canonical adaptation of the Spanish film Champions. “The preparatory work is complete, and it is set to be installed in January. Aamir will be able to have the film available for a Christmas 2024 release, according to a source close to the production. Farhan Akhtar was initially confirmed for the Champions remake, but had to withdraw due to scheduling conflicts.
Following Champions will be the film by Rajkumar Santoshi. “The Rajkumar Santoshi film will begin production in a few weeks and will be Aamir’s second film,” a source revealed.

This film, based on the American film Forrest Gump, featured Kareena Kapoor Khan alongside Khan in a prominent role.
