Rhea Sharma, who is currently essaying the role of Mishti in TV show Yeh Rishtey Hain Pyaar Ke, has been approached for Ekta Kapoor’s next.
TV czarina, Ekta is all set to bring another interesting love story for the audience, where a young girl will marry a relatively older man.
As SpotBoyE’s sources, Ekta has finalised Amar Upadhyay to play the male lead’s part and now, the search for the female lead is on. We hear that the latest name from the telly town to receive the call is that of Rhea Sharma.
Rhea’s ongoing show with Shaheer Sheikh is set to bid adieu to the viewers from next month. And we have been informed that actress is quite excited about the call and soon will be auditioning for the role.
However, it’s too early to say if she will play the part as along with Rhea there are other young TV actresses who are in consideration like Niti Taylor and Aditi Bhatia.
Recently, while talking to a media portal when Rhea was asked what kind of roles is she looking for, the actress had said, “I would like to play a detective or something which has action or dominance in the role, little different from the good girl kind of character, someone who is street smart and has some action to do.”
