An FIR has been filed against Amazon Prime’s Mirzapur, after the Tandav controversial row on the basis of Illicit relations and abate content the web series shows. The FIR has been filed against the Mirzapur producers- Rotes Sidhwani, Farhan Akhtar, and Bahumik Gondaliya.

The FIR has been filed under IPC section 295A which is- deliberate and malicious acts, intended to outrage religious feelings of any class by insulting its religion or religious beliefs, Section 504 over intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of the peace, section 505 over statements conducing to public mischief of the IPC along with sections of the Information Technology (IT) Act.

The FIR has been filed at Mirzapur Kotwali Defat police station by Arvind Chaturvedi. As per the SP of Mirzapur, Ajay Kumar said that web series has shown abusive content and illicit relations, this an FIR has been registered against the producers and the platform.
The second season of Mirzapur created a big stir on the social media platforms and revolves around Pankaj Tripathi, a criminal named Kaleen Bhaiya, Guddu Bhaiya- Ali Fazal, Munna Bahiya, and how the criminal empire topples.
