Sri Lankan spinner Akila Dananjaya will not be able to bowl in international cricket for 12 months. According to reports, the decision was passed on to the board and the player on 18th September.
Dananjaya was investigated for his bowling action during the first Test against Kiwis at Galle. Following which, Dananjaya was required to travel to Sri Ramachandra Institute, Chennai for the bio-mechanical assessment.
