In a highly shocking incident, a jilted lover threw acid on boyfriend for constantly rejecting marriage proposals.
The incident reportedly happened in Aligarh. The victim identified as Faizan had a love affair with a young woman from the locality for a year, both wanted to get married.
A month and a half ago, when Faizan told about the relationship at his home, the family refused. His mother forced him to break up with the girl. After this, Faizan stopped talking to the woman, but the girl kept calling Faizan continuously to convince him for marriage.
On Thursday, agitated girl walked upto Faizan while he was smoking outside his house with his friends. She poured a bottle full of acid on his face and escaped.
Faizan was rushed to the Deendayal Hospital from where he was referred to JN Medical College. He was seriously injured due to acid fall in the right side of his face.
However, the accused woman has reportedly denied love affair with Faizan. She claimed that the man had her personal photos and was blackmailing her.
