Amaravati: Police authorities have busted a sex racket which was running secretly in neighbourhoods of Amaravati. On receiving intel from a third party, the police have conducted a surprise raid and arrested three people.
As per information received from sources, two women took a house on rent at Rajkamal road in Chinakakani village and started indulging in the flesh trade for past some time.
Once knowing the issue, Mangalagiri Rural CI P Seshagiri Rao, SI Srinivas Reddy, and other policemen have conducted a surprise raid on the house on Tuesday.
During the raid, the police have arrested one customer along with two women who run the racket and seized Rs 4,000 and three mobile phones from their possession. On the incident, a case has been booked and investigating further.
