Weeks after Microsoft eclipsed Apple to become the world’s most valuable company, Amazon have snatched the title.
The tech king closed with a worth of $797bn at US stock market on Monday after leaping over the software giant Microsoft who remained valued at $789bn.
Amazon became the second US company to cross $1 trillion mark in September 2018 after Apple became the first to cross the grand figure a month earlier, in August. The company have been growing steadily across it’s functionaries. Jeff Bezos founded company gained the broadcasting rights of premier sporting tournaments like EPL.
While Apple’s gross valuation has been decreasing owing to the slowdown in China. It is value currently just over $700 billion.
On November 24, Microsoft overtook Apple for the number one spot. Microsoft, which has recently acquired Github targets to better its cloud services. While the other tech giants like Google and Facebook are regularly being questioned over consumer data protection, Microsoft has slowly and steadily increased their hold on the cloud market.
