With the number of positive cases surging day by day nationwide, the Indian government has left no stones unturned to curb the spread of COVID-19. Till now, more than 500 positive cases have been recorded across the country. Thereafter, on March 24, 2020 Prime Minister Narendra Modi has announced three weeks nationwide lockdown.
However, many state government has agreed to give passes to animal feeders which is a matter of concern as stray dogs, cats, cows, etc, are totally dependent on us for food, water, and whatnot.
Maneka Sanjay Gandhi has informed this via tweeting on her Twitter account and she also said that only 100 passes will be given per district.
Here’s the list of states who issued passes for street animal feeders.
- Delhi
- Karnataka (in Bengaluru)
- Uttar Pradesh
- Harayana
- Odisha
- Maharashtra
- Rajasthan
