The Gujarat Cooperative Milk Marketing Federation (GCMMF), whose Amul brand is well-known, has increased the price of milk by Rs 3 per litre to Rs 66 per litre.
Previously, the price per litre of whole milk was Rs 63. Amul Shakti milk now costs Rs 53 per litre, Amul Gold milk costs Rs 65 per litre, and Amul Taza milk costs Rs 59 per litre.
The increase occurred one day after the Union Finance Minister presented the Union Budget.
“We would like to inform you that the price of Amul pouch milk (all variants) has been revised upwards as under w.e.f. February 2, 2023 night dispatch (February 3, 2023 morning).”
