A Kerala-based auto driver, Sunil has impressed Anand Mahindra, the executive chairman of Mahindra Group with his unique invention so much that the auto-giant spent few weeks and dedicated a team to locate the driver. Not only had that, Anand also presented the driver with a brand new Mahindra Supro Mini Truck in exchange for his rickshaw.
Now, you must be wondering what was so special about this man and his auto-rickshaw.
Sunil had successfully tailored his rickshaw’s rear to look like the rear of a Mahindra Scorpio. When Anand Mahindra was informed about the same on social media, he asked his team to locate the person as he was enormously interested in his unique invention.
In fact, he wanted the rickshaw to be displayed at Mahindra and Mahindra’s museum.
On March 19, a Twitterati, called Anil Panickar posted an image of the same auto tagging Anand Mahindra, saying how admired the Scorpio is among Indians. Anand, who was overwhelmed by the creation, immediately thanked him for the picture and asked him to help him track the owner.
Finally, Anand successfully tracked the owner and presented him with a new Supro mini truck in return of his rickshaw. “The proud owner of the three-wheeler ‘Scorpio’, now a happy owner of a 4 wheeler,” Anand tweeted.
