Andhra Pradesh government has decided to introduce a new resolution in Legislative Assembly on the ‘National Population Register (NPR)’ requesting the Central government to revert data as per 2010.
Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy mentioned on Twitter on Tuesday, said that some of the questions proposed in the ‘NPR’ might be causing apprehensions in the minds of minorities in the state.
“After elaborate consultations within our party YSRCP, we have decided to ‘request’ the Central Government to “revert” the conditions to those prevailing in 2010, Mr Reddy said.
Andhra Pradesh CM Jagan Mohan Reddy has requested centre to adopt and implement NPR in 2010 basis.
Some of the questions proposed in the NPR are causing insecurities in the minds of minorities of my state. After elaborate consultations within our party, we have decided to request the Central Government to revert the conditions to those prevailing in 2010.
