As the prevailing situation is going worse due to coronavirus pandemic, Anna University on Thursday declared that the end-semester examinations of April-May for affiliated colleges will be conducted after the end of the lockdown period.
According to the circular, “Anna University announces that the end-semester examinations of April-May for affiliated colleges will be held after the end of lockdown period due to the thread of COVID-19.”
The university will declare the revised or new dates after only when the lockdown is lifted. “The revised timetable for the said examinations of April/May 2020 will be published afresh after the lockdown,” said the varsity circular.
The special exams for students who have exhausted the maximum period of study will also be rescheduled due to coronavirus outbreak.
Moreover, the Bihar government decided to promote students of classes 1 to 9 and Class 11 without conducting the annual exam on Wednesday, April 8, 2020. The decision has been taken in the wake of the coronavirus outbreak and the subsequent nationwide lockdown.
Similarly, there are a number of educational institutes that have deferred the exams, admission process, evaluation process and so on amid COVID-19 outbreak.
