Anti-Valentine Week 2019 Dates: Complete schedule from Slap to Break-Up Day

With Valentine’s Day just around the corner, all stores are adorned with red hearts and love symbols. But if you are tired of all the shower of love that comes with the start of February, there is an Anti-Valentine week, right after Valentine’s Day.

Valentine’s Day is celebrated on February 14, and from February 15, the Anti-Valentine Week begins. The Valentine Week sees each of the day as a gesture of love and exactly opposite is the Anti-Valentine Week which starts itself with the violence of Slap Day.

The Anti-Valentine Week consists of Slap Day, Kick Day, Perfume Day, Flirting Day, Confession Day, Missing Day and ends with Break-up Day.

The Valentine’s Week sees a lot of love blossoming in the 7 seven days culminating to celebrate the day of love on February 14. It is not very clear as to who came up with the idea of this Anti-Valentine Week but it would sure be someone who was too tired of seeing all the love and mush around. Too much of anything can be annoying and the same applies to the love around on Valentine’s Day. Thus a week dedicated to those who do not really enjoy the idea of Valentines’, the Anti-Valentine Day seems perfect.

Date Day
15th February Slap Day 2019
16th February Kick Day 2019
17th February Perfume Day 2019
18th February Flirting Day 2019
19th February Confession Day 2019
20th February Missing Day 2019
21st February Break-Up Day 2019

The entire week sure has some violent and negative ideas but do not let it get into your life too seriously. It clearly does not mean you go out and slap or kick someone. At most, the Anti-Valentine Week is just a way of expressing your frustration at the over show of love that precedes it. Of course, one could try out some new ways of healthy flirting, confess something that you’ve kept to yourself for many days or months, miss someone who stays too far.

Look at the Anti-Valentine Week with also a positivity rather than being too pessimistic about the idea of love. Wish you all a Very Happy Anti-Valentine Week 2019!
