Arbaaz Khan is currently seen hosting a chat show, and was recently asked about his ex-wife Malaika Arora tying the knot with longtime boyfriend, Arjun Kapoor. He was asked to comment on their upcoming wedding. The actor, however, dodged answering the question directly but he did react to the question, which left everyone laughing.
The actor was attending the press conference of his digital chat show, wherein a journalist asked him the question. However, instead of giving a serious answer, the actor broke into laughter. Arbaaz replied, “Paaji, bohot intelligent sawaal poocha hai aapne! Bohot mehnat ki hogi, poori raat aap baithe honge iske upar (Sir, you have asked a very intelligent question. You must have worked so hard on it, thought about it all night).”
He further added, “Paaji, aapke sawaal ka jawaab dena hai mujhe. But aapne itna time liya sochne ke liye, toh mujhe bhi toh thoda time do! Kal bataun toh chalega? (Sir, I wanna to answer your question. But you took so much time to come up with it so give me some time to come up with the answer. Should I answer it tomorrow?).”
Arbaaz is currently dating Giorgia Andriani, post his divorce with Malaika.
According to reports in the media, Malaika is said to have a Christian wedding on April 19. Celebrities like Kareena Kapoor Khan, Karisma Kapoor, Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh are said to be a part of the guest list. Refuting the wedding rumours, Arjun had earlier commented, “When there is something to talk about, you will all know.” Recently even Arjun’s father Boney Kapoor declined the reports.
Meanwhile, Malaika has never openly confessed dating Arjun. However, she has spoken about the concept of love. In an interview she said, “Everyone wants to be in love again, to be in a relationship. Nobody wants to be alone and single for the rest of their life. Irrespective of what everyone said around me, I am glad that I made this choice on my own.”
The couple had been friends for over a decade and the first time the rumour mills were abuzz with news of their affair were in 2012. This also drove a wedge between Malaika and Arbaaz who were still married.
