The human body can change to a limited extent through weight training and increased consumption of food. If done smartly and healthy, it can be no harm to the body.

It is suggested to consult a doctor in this regard. However, you can do your part at home. The proper intake of weight gaining food and recipes could of great help.

Here are some healthy homemade smoothies for weight gain:

Dark Chocolate and Almond Butter Weight Gainer Smoothie:

Ingredients:

  • Whole Milk, 1 full glass
  • Dark Chocolate(melted)
  • Almond Butter, 2 tablespoons
  • Chocolate Protein Powder, 2 scoops

Method:

Melt dark chocolate in a double boiler, or gently in the microwave. Place all ingredients in a blender, and gently pulse blend until all protein powder lumps are gone.

Banana and Strawberry Weight Gainer Smoothie:

Ingredients:

  • Whole Milk, 1 full glass
  • Heavy cream, 2 tablespoon
  • Banana, 1
  • Strawberry, 4
  • Strawberry Banana Protein powder, 1 tablespoon

Method:

Place all ingredients in a blender, and gently pulse blend until all protein powder lumps are gone.

Strawberry Peanut Butter Banana Smoothie:

Ingredients:

  • Plain Yogurt, 3/4 Cup
  • 5 large frozen Strawberries
  • 1 Banana
  • 2 Tbsp Peanut Butter
  • 2 Tbsp Milk

Method:

Add milk, yogurt, and banana in a blender followed by peanut butter and frozen strawberries. Blend until it becomes a thick consistency paste, if you like smoothie thinner, add more milk. You can replace your smooth peanut butter with a crunchy one if you wish to add some crunch to it.

Ingredients:

  • 3/4 cup plain or vanilla yogurt
  • 2 Tbs Peanut Butter
  • 1 Banana
  • 1/8 cup milk
  • 3/4 cup ice

Method:

Put milk, yogurt, and banana in a blender and make smooth consistency paste. Add crunchy or smooth peanut butter to it and blend further. You can add the desired amount of ice as per your preference.
