Army TES Recruitment: Through this direct recruitment, the Indian Army is looking to fill the post at Combat Corps, Education Corps, Medical Corps, Technical Corps, and Legal Corps. Applications are invited from time to time by the army for recruitment in these corps from 12th pass to PG candidates. Out of these, recruitment of senior secondary (10 + 2) pass youth in the Technical Corps of the Army is a good opportunity through which permanent commission is given at the rank of lieutenant. Recruitment to Technical Corps for youth passed by Indian Army (10+2) is done through the Army Technical Entry Scheme (TES).

Army Technical Entry Scheme

Notification for the recruitment under Technical Entry Scheme (TES) is issued twice a year by the Indian Army. A total of 180 candidates are selected every year through TES. Army TES Recruitment Notification is usually issued during the months of May/June and October/November.

Eligibility for Army TES 

For the Army Technical Entry scheme, candidates should have passed 10 + 2 examinations with mathematics, chemistry, and physics subjects from a recognised board. At the same time, candidates are required to get a total minimum of 70 percent in all three disciplines. Youth should be unmarried should be between 16.5 years and 19.5 years on the first day of the year and month of commencement of their age course. 

Army TES Recruitment: Salary

Under the Army Technical Entry scheme, a monthly stipend of Rs. 21, 000 is given during training. After successful completion of training, a permanent commission (appointment) is given to the rank of Lieutenant in the Army. The lieutenant is paid a monthly salary as per level 10 (Rs. 56,100 – Rs. 1,77,500) of the 7th Pay Commission. In addition, military service pay i.e. MSP (Rs.15,500 per month), and a variety of allowances and rations are provided.
