Arunachal Pradesh Youth Congress (APYC) has filed an FIR against Republic TV Editor-in-Chief Arnab Goswami in Itanagar police station for spreading communal tension and disharmony in the society.
The FIR which was filed on Saturday has been signed by APYC president in-charge Kipa Rikio as well as the party’s State general secretaries Tanu Nima Dulom and Giogi Achung.
The FIR charged Goswami of attacking on minority community of India amounting to communal carnage demanded through probe against him, according to copy of FIR available to the press.
Earlier, Mrghalaya Youth Congress has filed an FIR against Goswami for making a “wilful defamatory attack” against Congress president Sonia Gandhi.
Meanwhile, Mumbai Police have summoned journalist Arnab Goswami for his comments on Congress president Sonia Gandhi on his channel, Republic TV, while discussing the Palghar mob attack.
