Former Okhla MLA and Congress leader Asif Mohammad Khan on Friday evening was detained by Delhi Police at Jamianagar police station allegedly in connection with Jamia violence.
Soon after the news broke out, AAP leader and Okhla MLA Amanatullah Khan reached the police station and sat on dharna to demand Khan’s release.
According to the latest update, Asif was later released after the questioning on Jamia and New Friends Colony violence case.
