The Assam Govt has been planning to ensure that the coronavirus pandemic does not spread after the lockdown is lifted from the centre’s part after April 14. Some media sources of the state suggest that the govt is willing to allow few people to visit, for that they have to register themselves in a website. And then the people concerned will be given a digital pass-through which they can travel to the state.

A state media outlet of Assam has stated that the travellers visiting Assam have to seek permission from the govt to visit the state.

This directive has been taken only keeping in view the medical expertise the state has in terms of dealing with coronavirus pandemic.

A similar sort of website will also be launched for nurses, doctors and paramedical staff entering Assam, they will also have to enrol in a website before being given the permit to enter Assam.

On 9th April, a total of 14,000 people will be tested again for COVID-19 as their home quarantine period ends.

A state media outlet says that fewer Paracetamols are being sold in Assam earlier, which means the symptoms of cold and cough are downward sloping.
