The Board of Secondary Education, Assam (SEBA) has stated in its advisory that students will use black ink to write in the examination of this session. The HSLC and AHM examinations will be conducted under CCTV surveillance.

Signal Jammers will be installed at various examination centres across the State to prevent students from using cellphones and other such devices.

The district administration of various examination centres has imposed restrictions under Section 144 CrPC in the examination centres so that no one can come near 100 metres of the examination site. It bars candidates and those involved in the examination process.
