NEW DELHI: The online registration process will begin for the recruitment of Constables (Communication/ Messenger /Carpenter /UB) in APRO and sub-officer, firemen & emergency rescuers in fire emergency services, Assam by the State Level Police Recruitment Board, Assam on its official website on Tuesday, February 25, 2020 from 12.00 PM.
Desired candidates can apply online by visiting the official website of SLPRB at slprbassam.in. The last date to apply for the for Assam Constable recruitment 2020 is March 15, 2020. Candidates are exempted from paying application form fee.
Assam SLPRB will be conducting this recruitment drive to fill up 1269 vacancies, out of which, 802 vacancies of Constable of Police (Communication) in APRO and 410 posts of Firemen & 57 posts of Emergency Rescuer in Fire & Emergency Services.
The recruitment notification reads “Recruitment rallies will be conducted in the districts of Assam for selection of candidates for appointment against the following number of vacant posts in the Pay Scale Rs. 14000-49,000/ (Pay Band II), with Grade pay as mentioned against each category of post and other admissible allowances.”

Candidates must be Indian citizens, ordinarily residents of Assam.
Assam police constable vacancy details and educational qualifications:
Constable of Police (Communication) – 802 Posts:
10+2 (Science) passed with Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics (PCM) from a recognized Board or Council.
Constable of Police (UB) in APRO – 03 Posts
HS or Class- XII passed from a recognized Board or Council
Constable of Police (Messenger) – 07 Posts
HSLC Passed or equivalent from a recognized Board or Council and having Driving License in LMV & MMV
Constable of Police (Carpenter) – 1 Post
HSLC Passed or equivalent from a recognized Board or Council and passed prescribed ITI course in trade
Sub Officer – 3 Posts
12th passed or equivalent (Science) having Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics (PCM) from a recognized Board or Council
Firemen – 410 Posts
Class-XII passed (Science).
Emergency Rescuer – 57 Posts

Age:
For Sub-Officer:
Candidates with age between 20 to 24 years as on 1st January of 2020 (i.e. the candidate must be born on or before 01.01.2000 and after 01.01.1996) are eligible for the posts.
For Constable in APRO and Fireman & Emergency Service:
The age of the candidates must be 18 to 25 years as on 1st January of 2020 (i.e. the candidate must be born on or before 01.01.2002 and after 01.01.1995).
