Kamal Nath has been interviewing at multiple places after becoming the Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh. After giving a 80 minute long interview to one media organization Nath was seen talking to another one less than two weeks later.

Nath made several claims at the latest interview. He said, “At least four MLAs from the BJP have come to me and expressed willingness to join Congress. They told me they thought there was no future with the BJP.”

The Chief Minister applauded the government for waiving off farmer loans.

Hours after swearing in as the Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh, Kamal Nath had signed on papers for farm loan waivers. The Madhya Pradesh government had waived off the outstanding loans of farmers up to Rs 2 lakhs.

In the run-up to the elections in the 3 states of Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh, the Congress Chief Rahul Gandhi had said that he would change the Chief Minister if they don’t waive off farmer loans in ten days after the coming of election results.

The Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh accused BJP of attempting poaching Congress MLAs. He said, Five MLAs have told him that, “They(BJP) are poaching our MLAs. With all kinds of allurement.”

Kamal Nath claimed that the 10 per cent quota was brought in to fool voters and holds no significance in the Indian scenario.
