Atletico Madrid clinched its 11th La Liga title with a 2-1 victory over Real Valladolid on Saturday, the final day of the 2020-21 season.
After falling behind early in the first half, goals from Angel Correra and Luiz Suarez in the 57th and 67th minutes, respectively, helped wrap up the title for Diego Simeone’s side.

Atletico finished the season four points ahead of second-place Real Madrid and seven points above third-place Barcelona to capture its first Spanish league title since 2013-14.
