Fast bowler for the Indian cricket team Mohammed Siraj was left in tears when the Indian national anthem was played before the start of the third test match against Australia in Sydney earlier this morning. The Aus vs Ind Match began with a great start and seeing such secularity and sovereignty touched hearts of many for sure.
The Aus vs Ind match marks as Mohammed Siraj’s second match, he made his debut in the Melbourne test a few days back only and got India’s first wicket by taking out David Warner. An injury to Mohammed Shami during the tests led to an opening for fast bowlers Mohammed Siraj and since then he has proved his worth by playing like the skilled player he is and got 2 for 40 and 3 for 37.
When his father died earlier this year, Mohammed Siraj said that his father would have wanted him to play so rather than going back to do the rituals, Mohammed Siraj decided to play for India at Australia vs India match and prove his worth.
This time, Australia won the toss and decided to bat. Besides David Warner, Will Pucovski was the other change from Melbourne as Travis Head and Joe Burns were dropped. The latter made his debut after being in line for it ahead of the first Test before a concussion ruled him out of the first two games.
