Being lost in the wild seems scary and more so it feels like would you even be able to survive? Well, a 58-year-old Australian man who by mistake got lost in the Australian Bushes managed to survive for three weeks in the wild by just being on wild mushrooms and dam water.

Robert Weber, a 58-year-old man from Queensland got lost with his dog on January 6, 20201 and according to reports, was last spotted in Kilkivan, a hotel.  But as he was driving on a farm road, his car got stuck in the dirt because of which he had travel on foot and hence got lost in the wild. For the first three days as per reports, he was in his car only but had to go out when he had run out of water.

He walked the bushland in search of water and food but got lost as per the police while looking for help. For the next few days, Robert Weber just survived on wild mushrooms and dam water, and about eighteen days later was found sitting under the tree by his wife. The spot was 3 km away from where his car had been found.

Before he was found by his wife, a search party was already looking for Robert Weber for the past two weeks across the Australian bushes. As soon as Webber was posted, he was taken to hospital for treatment and thankfully did not suffer from serious injuries. Sadly, his dog is still missing.

There have been many instances as such in past where people have got lost, among such one more case was a 30-year-old Alaska man who survived 23 days in freezing cold temperature after his cabin burned down. He was later rescued by state troopers when they saw an SOS sign scribbled in snow.
