Soon, the Maryada Purushottam Shriram International Airport will open in the Ayodhya district of Uttar Pradesh. According to the reports, this airport’s construction is in its final stages. The runways are 90% complete, whereas the airport terminal is 75% complete.

The Uttar Pradesh government stated in January of this year that the Ayodhya Airport would be completed by June 2023, according to the information available. Airports Authority of India and Uttar Pradesh are transforming the extant airstrip in Ayodhya, UP, into an international airport. This aerodrome is located approximately eight kilometres from the Shriram temple. Additionally known as Maryada Purshottam Shri Ram International Airport. This aerodrome is being constructed near the Gorakhpur-Lucknow National Highway in Ayodhya.
