Badhra is one of the 90 constituencies to go for polls for Haryana Legislative Assembly on October 21. Badhra falls under Bhiwani-Mahendragarh Lok Sabha constituency of Haryana. Sukhvinder is the current MLA of Badhra.

In the 2014 Haryana Vidhan Sabha (Haryana Legislative Assembly) Elections, BJP candidate Sukhvinder defeated Congress’ Ranbir Singh Mahendra.

Out of the 90 Assembly constituencies in Haryana, 17 are reserved for Scheduled Castes as per the Delimitation of Parliamentary and Assembly Constituencies Order, 2008.
