According to the RBI’s list of holidays, banks will be closed for 12 days in March, though some of these holidays are region-specific.

On the RBI-designated holidays, all branches of public sector and private sector banks, foreign banks, cooperative banks, and regional banks will be closed. On these days, however, online and internet banking services will remain operational.

These five rule changes may directly affect your finances beginning March 1

The RBI has announced the following holiday schedule. The cities listed alongside the respective dates are RBI regional offices, and each city has a distinct jurisdiction. Some have greater jurisdiction than others, such as Guwahati, which has authority over several north-eastern states, including Arunachal Pradesh, Manipur, and Meghalaya, among others. The RBI has 31 locations for its offices.
