The 12th edition of ICC Cricket World Cup will begin from May 30, 2019, which will take place in England and Wales. Board of Control for Cricket in India has named Khaleel Ahmed, Navdeep Saini, Deepak Chahar and Avesh Khan as India’s net bowlers in the tournament.
On April 15, BCCI announced the 15-member squad of India for ICC World Cup 2019. The 15-member squad of India have three main pacers Mohammad Shami, Jasprit Bumrah and Bhuvneshwa Kumar which made Indian selectors feel that there is a need to send some net bowlers to assist the Men in Blue.
After announcing India’s World Cup squad, BCCI said in a statement, “The players will assist the Indian Team in its World Cup preparation.”
The four bowlers are currently playing for four different IPL clubs. Khaleel Ahmed plays for SunRisers Hyderabad, Navdeep Saini for Royal Challengers Bangalore, Deepak Chahar for Chennai Super Kings and Avesh Khan for Delhi Capitals.

The first match of ICC World Cup 2019 will be played between the hosts England and South Africa at The Oval in London. While Team India will begin their campaign against South Africa on June 5 at the Hampshire Bowl in Southampton.
With all 10 teams at the World Cup part of the round-robin group stage, each team will play a total of nine matches before the knockout stages, starting July 9. The top four teams will qualify for the knockouts.
