In a bizarre incident, a black bear was discovered sleeping inside a wardrobe after it broke into a house and managed to lock itself inside the laundry room in Montana, US.
As per the reports, the animal was found lying comfortably inside the wardrobe when deputies of Missoula County sheriff’s office knocked on the door in order to rescue it from the house.
However all their attempts to lure the bear out of the wardrobe failed. After which they had to call the Wildlife and Parks Department official to help. The officials sedated the bear and managed to move it out of the house to its natural territory.
The pictures of the bear were shared on Facebook by Missoula County Sheriff’s office. They wrote that the homeowners were glad that bear moved out of their house without any injuries.
The deputies discovered on arrival that the black bear had opened the door to the mudroom of this residence and has somehow managed to bolt the door from inside. After being unable to leave the bear began to tear the room apart but then decided he was tired and climbed up into the closet for a nap,” the sheriff’s department wrote on Facebook.
Before the wildlife officials were called for help, the department said that the bear stretched, yawned and was not at all shocked.
“This is another good reason to lock up, as we also have unconfirmed reports that he tried two other closets before he decided this one was juuuuuust right (kidding)! But seriously, lock up!” the sheriff’s department wrote.
