Bengaluru: A psychopath allegedly stabbed his 24-year-old wife in the nose with a screwdriver after she raised a complaint with the women’s helpline of city police saying he forced their three-year-old daughter to drink alcohol.
The video of the psychopath, Kumaresh alias Mavatti, an accused in a murder case, making the child drink alcohol has gone viral. Police are yet to arrest the accused.
Police sources reported, the woman fell in love with Kumaresh and married him against her elders’ wishes four years ago. She wasn’t aware that her husband was a Psychopath.
According to TOI, “When the woman was four months pregnant, she came to know the truth when police arrested Kumaresh in a murder case. The woman returned to her parents. After giving birth to a girl, she began working as domestic help. Out on bail, Kumaresh asked the woman to hand over his daughter to him, but she refused. In January, he came to her residence, assaulted her and took the child away.”
One fine evening the woman was on a lookout for her daughter, Kumaresh sent her a video showing his daughter drinking whisky with him. The woman rushed to Parihar family counselling centre in the police commissioner’s office.
The counsellors sought police help and tracked the child to Kumaresh’s sister’s house, but he had fled the place.
The woman then shifted to Byadarahalli, Magadi Road with her daughter. After few days Kumaresh barged into her house and assaulted her with a screwdriver.
Bindya Yohannan, the counsellor at the centre, said the woman has fled the city, fearing her husband.
