Bhojpuri actress Akshara Singh had to leave her performance midway at Dev Surya Mahotsav in Aurangabad after the crowd went berserk.
While the actress was performing at the event, the fans started pelting stones at the stage. As a result of which the police had to resort to lathi-charge to control the situation.
The District Magistrate of Aurangabad, Rahul Ranjan Mahiwal was also present at the event but he quickly made an exit when the crowd went out of control.
Reportedly, the arrangements at the event were not appropriate and the police knew that there will be problems at the event. The Sub-Divisional Police Officer also requested the crowd at the start of the event to stay seated and watch peacefully.
The seating arrangement at the event was not in accordance with the crowd also there was no adequate deployment of police in that area.
When the people couldn’t see the actress performance, they started pelting stones at the stage and even broke chairs at the event. Several people were also injured during the incident.
The Bhojpuri star has a massive fan following and is very much active on social media. On the work front, Akshara began her carrier in television and then rose to fame.
