In a recent, Mumbai’s CM Uddhav Thackeray gave permission to FWICE to start film and TV shoots with restricted guidelines and now all the makers have geared up to resume the shoot which was stopped due to lockdown.
Because of a new rule Colors TV’s Barrister Babu producers have started the hunt for their main lead as to who will play Bondita. As per the new guidelines set by the government, no children will be allowed on the set for precautionary measures and hence the makers are forced to take an age leap.
A source close to the show told an entertainment portal that casting calls are being made and Devoleena Bhattacharjee has also been approached for the same. It is obvious that the makers are looking for someone who has a Bengali touch and a mischievous personality. And Devoleena fits the bill. However, nothing has been finalised yet.
On the work front, Devoleena was last seen in Bigg Boss 13 but had to quit her journey mid-way due to her health issues. She rose to fame with her role as Gopi Bahu in Sath Nibhana Saathiya.
