Bihar: 22-year-old man on way to fetch milk mob lynched; probe underway

Miscreants hit the victim with an iron rod which lead to his death on the spot.

In a highly shocking incident, a 22-year-old BA student Manish Kumar, who was going to fetch milk from Kasimpur Diara by bike, was beaten to death by few people on Pipapul Marg on Wednesday evening. After executing the incident, all the criminals took advantage of the deserted area and fled.

On receiving the information, the victim’s father Vishwanath Rai arrived with his family members and picked up the body and took to a sub-divisional hospital. Crowds of people thronged the hospital after hearing the news of the murder.

According to the reports, Manish Kumar used to study in BA Part-1. He used to go to his village to fetch milk every evening on his bike. Even on Wednesday evening, when he was on the way, the criminals ambushed at a deserted place in Pipapul Marg, stopped Manish and started hitting him on the head with an iron rod. Manish died on the spot due to a deep wound in his head.

On receiving the news of the incident, LJP’s Patna District President Chandan Yadav, former District Councilor Omprakash Rai, Panchayat Samiti member Umesh Prasad and others arrived and demanded strict action against the culprits.
