In a horrifying accident in Naugachia in Bhagalpur district of Bihar, 9 migrant labourers died and several others have been injured after a bus carrying migrant laborers from Darbhanga to Banka collided with a truck loaded with pipes. The incident took place in the early morning on Tuesday.
The truck in which the labourers were travelling, fell off the road after the collision. A rescue operation is going on the scene.

This is the third accident in the country in the past 12 hours in which migrant workers lost their lives.
Meanwhile, in another incident, 3 migrant labourers and a bus driver were killed and 22 others injured after their vehicle hit a stationary truck in Maharashtra’s Yavatmal district in the early hours of Tuesday, a police official said. The bus was carrying at least 25 migrant labourers from Solapur to Jharkhand when the accident took place.
Last week, 26 migrant labourers were killed when two trucks carrying migrant labourers from different states collided in Uttar Pradesh’s Auraiya.
16 other labourers were killed in Maharashtra’s Aurangabad when a goods train run over them while the group fell asleep on the railway tracks after walking for hours.
