Bihar assembly elections: Here’s how you can check your name in Voter ID

Bihar elections: The much-anticipated Bihar Legislative Assembly elections are round the corner and it will be a big challenge for people amid the coronavirus pandemic. This time Bihar elections will witness new experiments. In the midst of the ongoing war from Corona, a number of strategies are being designed for a smooth election.

One of the new strategies includes the issue of voter ID at home. If someone is 18 years old and want to vote in the Vidhan Sabha elections, their voter ID card can be issued sitting at home by creating a voter card.

To create a voter card one must visit www. nvsp.in website and log in to add their name on the list. To take the procedure forward one has to fill Form Six. Along with that one has to submit their age certificate, residential address, and photo. Following all the instructions will add the person’s name to the voter list.

You can also apply to BLO, right now

Apart from this website, one can also add their names to the voter ID list by submitting the application form by filling it with BLO.

You can take all the information on the helpline numbers

On the helpline number 1950, one can go through all the information from the name of the voter list. You can change your name or address by filling form number 8. In addition, proof of verifying the error can also be uploaded if required.

Meanwhile, the Election Commission of India will hold a press conference today in Delhi to decide the dates of the upcoming Bihar elections. To follow social distancing norms the meeting is taking place from the name of the voter list. For more updates on Bihar elections stay tuned.
