Bihar: BJP MLC Sanjay Paswan claims to be among probable ministers ahead of cabinet expansion

In the NDA Alliance, this time JDU is in the minority as they won just 43 seats compared to a mammoth of 74 seats of BJP. Due to this share of seats, BJP is hopeful to get more of its elected candidates in the Bihar Cabinet.

BJP MLC Sanjay Paswan has claimed to be among the probable ministers ahead of the cabinet expansion in Bihar. Notably, its been more than 2 months since NDA has formed the government in Bihar and there are still speculations about the cabinet expansion. Among these rumors, BJP MLC Sanjay Paswan has come upfront and claimed he is in the race for probable ministers ahead of the cabinet expansion in an interview given to the Live Cities Media. 

In the NDA Alliance, this time JDU is in the minority as they won just 43 seats compared to a mammoth of 74 seats of BJP. Due to this share of seats, BJP is hopeful to get more of its elected candidates in the Bihar Cabinet. 

Paswan was Minister of State of Human Resource Development in Vajpayee’s government. He was elected to 13th Lok Sabha from Nawada constituency of Bihar. 

He was elected as MLC in Bihar on 6 May 2018 representing BJP. Paswan unsuccessfully contested the 2005 Assembly Election on the RJD symbol. Paswan spent his time serving several political parties including RJD, Congress, and Lok Janshakti Party, and finally returned to the BJP in 2008.
