The body of a doctor who died by suicide is found in a hotel in Purnea, Bihar. Dr. Saket Rai hanged himself from a fan in the hotel and the room was locked from inside. Saket Rai was a resident of Chunapur.
Doctor Saket Rai was not a doctor from the profession but had completed his medical studies in Russia. He was currently doing farming in the village. However, it has not yet come to the fore why he took a step like suicide.
His family has also not revealed anything about it. As soon as the Police received the news of Suicide at the hotel, SDPO Anand Kumar Pandey Executive Magistrate Sadar Janaki Kumari and Assistant Station Head Khandachiaz Amit Kumar rushed to the spot along with the police team. SP Dayashankar said Saket Rai’s body was found hanging from a fan in the hotel.

Saket Rai’s family says he had left his home on Saturday night and when he did not return home after night, his son Pratyush called him. He only said that he is staying at a hotel near RN Chowk. He then disconnected the phone.
About 10 p.m. on the night, his son called again but he did not pick up the phone. The family then rushed to the hotel, where the hotel staff said that Saket had checked into the hotel on Saturday night and is staying in room No. 203.
When Saket didn’t open the door, the hotel manager immediately reported the case to the police. The police officer rushed to the hotel and pushed the door open.
In the meantime, everyone was shocked as Dr. Roy’s body was hanging from the fan. The police have taken down the body and sent it for post mortem. The matter is under investigation.
