According to the model paper, only the options for questions have been increased, this means students have to solve the same number of questions as of the 2020 examination.

The Bihar board has doubled the number of options in the objective, short and long answer questions in matriculation and inter-examination-2021. The Bihar board has released a model paper on Friday. According to the model paper, only the options for questions have been increased, this means students have to solve the same number of questions as of the 2020 examination.

The board has made this change in all subjects for inter and matriculation. Model papers of 18 inter-matric and 18 subjects have been made available for students.

One model question paper has been released for each subject. The board has advised the students to practice with model paper.

Matric exam: 110 questions will be asked this time in the subject of science in matriculation. These will have 80 objective questions, 24 short answers, and six long answer questions. From these 110 questions, the examinees have to answer 55 questions. 138 questions will be asked in the subject of matriculation mathematics. 100 questions will be objective, 30 short answers, and eight long answers. Of these, 69 questions are to be answered by the examinees.

Inter Exam: 138 questions will be asked in the inter mathematics subject. 69 questions have to be answered. There will be 96 questions in inter-biology. These will have 70 objective questions, 20 short answers, and six long answer questions. 48 questions have to be answered. The board has issued a model letter and informed about it.

The number of pages increased in question paper: Increasing the number of questions will also increase the number of pages in the question papers. The question paper of science subject in matriculation will be of 35 pages. The Sanskrit will have 21 pages. 

Inter-examination and matriculation examination date

Inter Examinations will be held from 1st February to 13th February and will include more than 13 lakh candidates. The matriculation examination will run from 17th to 24th February and will include 15 lakh candidates.
