A horrifying case of human sacrifice has come to light from Bihar’s Bhagalpur area where a man wanting to have his kids, ended up sacrificing his brother’s child on advice of an occultist.
The accused has been identified as Shivnandan Das who took his bother’s son Kanhaiya Kumar to market on the pretext of buying firecrackers for Diwali. However, midway he took the child to a nearby village and sacrificed him.

As soon as the villagers came to know about the incident, they informed the police. The incident was reported to Pirpainti police station on Monday. SDPO Reshu Krishna and other policemen reached the crime spot to cool down the matter.
On inquiry, villagers claimed that Das had no child of his own. A Tantrik had asked him to give a human sacrifice of a child from his own family in order to have his own kids. Villagers also informed that Das often suffered seizures and consulted same Tantrik for the medial aide.
Meanwhile, body of the deceased has been sent for the post-mortem. Shivanandan Das and others including Tantrik Vilas Mandal are absconding from the village.
