Bihar Matric Result 2020: Bihar board 10th class students are eagerly waiting for the result for a long time. The 12th class result had already been released leaving students in more curiosity. However, then what is the reason that the result of the 10th class has not come yet.

Here are the reasons behind the delay in class 10th results:

COVID-19 lockdown

Lockdowns have been carried out across the country since the last part of March to prevent the spread of coronavirus infection. Due to the lockdown, there was a complete ban on means of transport across the country. People were also unable to go somewhere leaving their homes. In such a situation, it was not possible to go anywhere because of this the copies could not be evaluated in time. The evaluation of the copies started again from May 6 and ended last week. This is one of the reasons for the delay in the result.

Topper scam

On the other hand, there is one more important reason. After the topper scam surfaced in the year 2016 and 2017, the Bihar board was criticized by a lot of people. Because the board toppers were unable to answer the basic questions.

Later, it was discovered that all Bihar toppers were made on the basis of fraud and cheating. To avoid this kind of grudge, the Bihar board adopted a three-tier system of evaluation of toppers in particular.

The first phase is the normal stage in which copies of all students are evaluated. After that, the students who score the highest marks, the copies of the toppers are re-evaluated.

A committee of experts from all disciplines is formed for this task. Toppers are interviewed after the copies are re-evaluated. The toppers interview a panel of experts. Its purpose is to be assured that the toppers have not committed any fraud and topped themselves. Three levels of the evaluation process are also the main reason for the delay in the result.
