As the Bihar government is not ready to bring back its stranded students in Kota due to the coronavirus lockdown but the well offs have come forward to break the rules to bring back their children to the state amid the nationwide curbs on movement.
A Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MLA from Hisua in Bihar, Anil Singh, has defied the lockdown guidelines and traveled in his personal vehicle to Kota to bring back his daughter.
According to reports, MLA Anil Singh was issued a special pass by Nawada SDM after which he left for Kota to bring back his daughter.
A former Nitish Kumar aide and electoral strategist Prashant Kishor took to Twitter to attack Nitish Kumar over issuing a special pass to the BJP MLA for traveling to Kota.
“Nitish Kumar had rejected the appeal for help by hundreds of students of Bihar trapped in Kota saying it will be against the dignity of the lockdown. Now, his government has given special permission to a BJP MLA to bring his [daughter] from Kota. Nitish ji, what does your dignity say now?,” Prashant Kishor tweeted.
अब उन्हीं की सरकार ने BJP के एक MLA को कोटा से अपने बेटे को लाने के लिए विशेष अनुमति दी है। नीतीश जी अब आपकी मर्यादा क्या कहती है? pic.twitter.com/mGy9v0MHQS

According to the government data, 149 students have so far reached various districts of Bihar from Kota on their own, and have been quarantined. The homecoming process of students studying in Kota is still continuing as 10 students from Kota reached Kaimur in three vehicles on Sunday.
A team of magistrates and doctors screened all the students at the border and stamped ‘home quarantine’ on their hands. All of these students had taken special passes from the Kota district magistrate to travel to their hometowns.
