A mob resorted to immense violence on Friday July 6 in Nalanda District, Bihar, where a man accused of murder was thrown off the balcony from first floor. He has been admitted to the hospital while 11 people have been detained by the police in the connection.
The incident, a video of which has gone viral on social media, took place when the acuused murderer tried hiding inside the house after gunning down a 28 year old man identified as Diwakar Kumar. Locals had vandalised the area when accused had attempted to escape the area.
Mob thrashed the man and threw him off the balcony, injuring him seriously. People ransacked the house and set fire to atleast sex vehicles nearby.
Mob turned violent to the level that they pushed off a policeman from the same balcony when he had gone to save the person.
Altogether 11 policemen including two DSP officers were injured in the clash.
