The criminals had chopped his head off and used acid on his body before throwing it in the bush to conceal the sight of the incident.

The villagers blocked the Bhabhua-Bhagwanpur main road in the protest and demanded the arrest of the killers. Deputy Superintendent of Police Ajay Kumar, Block Development Officer Mayank Kumar, and Circle Officer Arun Kumar Shrivastav immediately rushed to the spot and assured the villagers that criminals will be behind the bars at the earliest.

Father of the deceased Arjun Ram said that on October 16, two persons had come to his house and took Dharmendra along with them. “When he didn’t return till very late, we started searching for him and started asking all his friends and relatives regarding any information of his son,” said Arjun Ram.

On 18th October deceased family reported to police about Dharmendra disappearance. A letter was thrown at their doorstep and found on Saturday with a warning of not to inform anyone especially police about this incident, or else entire family will be wiped out.

Seeing the warning the deceased family intensified their search effort and the body was recovered from his Brick Chimney outside the village. His head was chopped off and the rest of his body’s flesh melted and mixed with soil and bush around.

Police were informed and the body was sent for postmortem, where it was confirmed by the doctor that acid was used to decompose the body.

It is apprehended that murders were four in numbers and they had food and liquor together before killing the student. Station House Officer Ravikant is investigating the case.
