In Bihar, a teenager was murdered by his friends in a mere game-playing dispute. After the murder, his friends threw his body into the Gandak river. This heart-wrenching incident happened in Gopalganj where the murder was carried out while playing the mobile game Free Fire on February 1.
The body of the student was recovered eight days later by Kuchaikote police from Gandak river from the same place where the accused friends had reported the body being thrown into the river.
The deceased student is Roshan Ali, 14, a resident of Sirsia village in Kuchaikote, who was the son of Mohammad Shaukat Ali.

Roshan Ali was a student of class XI. The family members said that he had been missing for the past several days, and they had lodged an FIR over the abduction at Kuchaikote police station.
After registering an FIR of kidnapping, the police detained and questioned three friends of the student on the basis of suspicion. After interrogation, the three friends had admitted to the murder.
The arrested friends also said that his body had been thrown into the Gandak River. After the statement of the accused, Vishambharpur police reached Kalamtihania village and started a search operation for recovery of the body in Gandak river.
Roshan got ahead of friends in Free Fire
Sadar SDPO Naresh Paswan said that 14-year-old student Roshan Ali was murdered by three of his friends. The murder was done over the battle royale Free Fire mobile game.
It is being said that Roshan had left his friends far behind in the Free Fire mobile game. After which three of his friends in jealousy killed Roshan and the body was thrown into the Gandak River to erase the evidence after the murder.
According to Sadar SDPO, the arrested accused were Vishal Kumar, Tejpratap Kushwaha, and Mo. Chand. The three friends were arrested by the police in the case. The body of the deceased has been recovered from Gandak river after 8 days of the search operation.
